CAnMove Seminar with Chris Guglielmo

Next Tuesday (Nov 21) at 14.30, Chris Guglielmo will give a seminar entitled “Integrating lab and field studies to understand the migration physiology of birds and bats”. The seminar will be in Tanken, as usual.

Chris is  visiting the wind tunnel this semester from Western University in Ontario, Canada. His current work focuses on physiological adaptations to endurance flight and stopover refueling in migratory birds and bats

(https://www.uwo.ca/biology/directory/faculty/guglielmo.html), which will be the focus of his talk. His work revolves around the hypobaric wind tunnel (http://birds.uwo.ca/facilities/index.html) at Western University and field studies of animal physiology.
