Analysing the wake of a gliding jackdaw

Last week, a new paper on the quantitative wake analysis of the gliding jackdaw got published in The Journal of Experimental Biology.

In this paper CAnMove Marco Klein Heerenbrink, Kajsa Warfvinger and Anders Hedenström introduce a method to measure the aerodynamic forces on a bird from the wake, and then they investigate how the bird controls these forces through changes in its posture.

To the paper: "Wake analysis of aerodynamic components for the glide envelope of a jackdaw (Corvus monedula)".
