VR-grants 2018!

Yesterday the Swedish Research Council announced the approved grant applications within natural and engineering sciences 2018. In total, almost 1.2 billion SEK for 2018–2022 was granted. Congratulations to CAnMove researchers Christer Brönmark, Arne Hegemann and Per Henningsson who was three of the lucky ones!

Christer Brönmark's project "Living in a landscape of fear: effects on navigation, demography and trophic interactions" and Per Henningsson's research on aeordynamics in flying animals both got project grants, whereas Arne Hegemann was granted starting money for his research on how the immune system relates to migration and residency.

Of the 312 grants, 48 went to Lund University, which was only topped by Uppsala University.
